What does Z MANA stand for?

The ‘Z’ in ZMANA stands for z-wave technology. Z-Wave  technology is a wireless communications network used for home automation. It uses low-energy radio waves to communicate from appliance to appliance, allowing for wireless control of residential appliances and other devices, such as lighting control, security systems, thermostats, windows, locks, swimming pools and garage door openers. A Z-Wave automation system can be controlled via the Internet, from a wireless keyfob, a wall-mounted keypad or through smartphones, tablets or computers, with a Z-Wave controller. Source: Wikipedia

So what is MANA?

Hawai’i is much more than a vacation destination. For native Hawaiians and those lucky enough to call the islands home, Hawai’i is a way of life and a way of thinking. The native Hawaiian concepts of pono, aloha, aina, ohana and mana are crucial to understanding how Hawai’i has consistently ranked as the least stressed and happiest state in America. Mana translates to “power”, “effectiveness”, and “prestige.” Mana is a spiritual energy and healing power which can exist in places, objects and persons. Native Hawaiians believe that mana may be gained or lost by actions, and that mana is both external and internal. Source: Wikipedia
